The Catalac 8M, although classified as a pocket cruiser was designed with blue water cruising in mind. The dog house has been replaced by a S/S supported canvas canopy, with the traveller mounted above the canopy providing a large cockpit area, free of any obstructions and with all lines leading back to the cockpit. She is very stable with a large deep cockpit, with guard rails throughout. Being particularly suited to families and single handed sailors, requiring room to relax but also desire an exhilarating and safe sale. The majority of fixtures and fittings have been replaced by S/S fittings and the deck is covered in Tek Dek giving the boat a very modern and classy appearance.

A very dry boat, with no leaks through her hull or windows. Her shallow draft means she is equally at home exploring creeks and estuaries as she is making ocean passages. Equally if all you want to do is to socialise with family and friends in harbour she will seat 10 in the cushioned cockpit area. When at anchor there is a swim platform.
