Twins 25 is a Pat Patterson designed boat. All the experience from his previous designs has been used to greatly benefit the Summer Twins. There were only 9 made and this was the last one, due to high production costs. This Cat will go anywhere. It is equally at home in a shallow creek or even beached. The accommodation is amazing for the size of boat, and is the first thing other boat owners comment on. It has 2 permanent doubles and the saloon soon converts to another. The galley and heads are of a good size, the heads having a useable shower. The cockpit is a great entertaining area. It has twin Volvo Penta engines which make for easy manoeuvrability. Sailing single handed is a pleasure. There are plenty of sails and she has good performance for a 25 foot catamaran, especially if kept light. It is not perfect as you would expect from a boat built in 1989 and will require a refit of instruments but the bare bones of an excellent family cruiser are there.
