Less of an evolution, more of a complete keel up redesign of the original F27 concept. The Corsair 880 by Perus Yacht Design is a fully specified family cruiser with the performance to satisfy the hardiest sailor, all light enough to be towed by the average family SUV. The reverse bows, trimaran hydrodynamics and performance rig give the 880 excellent sailing ability to make the trip to your next cruising destination lots of fun. The build features full female moulded hulls and decks, exterior gelcoat finish with moulded in non-slip surfaces. Materials used include vacuum-formed polyester resin, EGlass laminate with carbon fibre structural reinforcements; hull core is PVC closed cell. All lay-ups are to CE standards. The boat has been fitted with a state-of-the-art electric outboard installation with an E-Propulsion Navy outboard with 2 x 2000Kwh 48v E40 E-Propulsion batteries. This boat was purchased and specified by the owner for an extended cruise round coastal Europe for his retirement. Unfortunately, ill-health has forced this plan to be abandoned, and provides an opportunity for someone to acquire a well-specified boat in near new condition.
